Metropolitan of Leros Blesses the Opening of the Summer Season at the Diocese Youth Centre
The Metropolitan of Leros paid a pastoral visit to the Youth Centre of the Holy Metropolis of Leros, where he blessed the beginning of the summer season and offered his heartfelt wishes to the children, staff, and volunteers.
Addressing the young participants and those responsible for the Centre’s activities, His Eminence expressed his hope that the summer programme will be filled with joy, creativity, safety, and spiritual growth.
He also invoked the blessing and protection of Our Lady of the Castle (Panagia tou Kastrou), praying that she will watch over the children and everyone involved throughout the summer months, granting them health, strength, and divine guidance.
The visit marked the official opening of the Youth Centre’s summer activities, which every year provide children on the island of Leros with a welcoming environment for recreation, learning, fellowship, and spiritual development.
