The next meeting of the Municipal Council will take place on May 21, 2024, at 19:00. The meeting will be held in the conference room on the first floor of the Cultural Center and will be streaming live.
Decisions will be made on the following issues:
- Consideration of a municipal councilor’s request for a three-month leave of absence.
- Approval of the 2nd revision of the budget and technical program of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the 2024 fiscal year.
- Selection of the Citizen and Business Ombudsman for the Municipality of Kalymnos.
- Approval of the marking of exclusive parking spaces for people with disabilities following the recommendation of the Municipal Committee.
- Participation of the Municipality of Kalymnos in the EUROPEAN GROUPING OF TERRITORIAL COOPERATION (EGTC) under the name “EGTC EUXIN CITY” and appointment of representatives.
- Free concession of the use of the municipal ironworks to the Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Kalymnos (DEYAK).
- Decision on the placement of a bust of Georgios Koukouli in the courtyard of the 2nd General High School of Kalymnos.
- Acceptance of the resignation of an alternate member of the Unified School Committee of Primary Education.
- Formation of the Municipal Gender Equality Committee of the Municipality of Kalymnos.
- Formation of the Project Acceptance Committee for the following works:
- “Repair – Maintenance of the Municipal Building (KAPI)”
- “Replacement of windows at the 3rd Gymnasium of Chora Kalymnos”
- “Completion of construction works on the Technical Services Building”
- “Asphalting of the municipal road network with access to tourist, archaeological, and port facilities”
- “Construction of retaining walls and installation of guardrails on the road of Ag. Giannis in Melitsacha”
- “Paving of historical sites in Kalymnos”
- “Concrete paving of small roads and public spaces”
- “Construction of technical works within the bed of the Langadi Drapeti stream in Kalymnos”
