On Friday, October 24, 2025, at the “Vasilis Sevastis” Municipal Stadium in Kalymnos, the Pan-Dodecanese Interclub Track and Field Games took place, featuring individual events for the U14 category and a sports meeting for the U12 category, held in memory of the physical education teacher and island patriot, Theofilos Klonaris.
The event was held under the auspices of EAS SEGAS Dodecanese and was co-organized with the municipal authority of Kalymnos, the South Aegean Region and the local athletic club Kazonis – Kalymnos 2000.
The Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Kalymnos honored Theofilos Klonaris with a boys’ group performing a dance created by the late athlete and coach himself — the “Dance of the Diver.” This dance expresses the pain of an injured diver and his longing for life.
