All Schools Closed in Cyclades and Dodecanese for Preventive Safety Reasons
The Regional Governor of South Aegean, Giorgos Hatzimarkos, announced the suspension of operation of all school units across all levels of education in the Cyclades and the Dodecanese on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
The decision was taken as a preventive measure to safeguard public safety. The suspension applies to all educational institutions, including preschool education units and special education schools.
The decision has been communicated to the Regional Directorate of Education of South Aegean.
