A special event dedicated to the younger generation and European values took place on Wednesday, June 10, in Kalymnos, at the ground floor of the Kalymnos Cultural Center, where students who excelled in the European Parliament’s “Schools – Ambassadors of Europe” program were honored.
The Kalymnos Reading Society “Ai Mousai” and the Nikiforeio 1st General Lyceum of Kalymnos invited the public to attend the award ceremony for the students who participated in and distinguished themselves through the program, highlighting the active involvement of young people in European affairs.
The European Parliament’s “Schools – Ambassadors of Europe” program aims to bring students closer to European institutions, enhance their understanding of how the European Union functions, and foster active citizenship.
The awards ceremony recognized the students’ effort, creativity, and participation, as they served as ambassadors of European ideals within their school community.
The event brought together educators, students, parents, and representatives of local organizations for an evening dedicated to knowledge, cooperation, and the European future of the younger generation.
