The Office of Prevention and Health Promotion of the General Hospital – Health Center of Kalymnos “Vouvaleio”, continuing its active outreach within the community, organized a new informational initiative on Healthy Nutrition.
The event took place on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Vathea Primary School and was addressed to parents and guardians of the students, who play a key role in shaping the dietary habits of the family. The aim of the scientific team was to inform and raise awareness about the principles of balanced nutrition during childhood. Proper nutritional guidance is essential both for the healthy physical and mental development of children and for the prevention of modern health problems, such as childhood obesity.
