A water supply pipe broke on 6.1.2026 near the square in Elies, in Panormos.
A repair crew from DEYAK arrived at the scene and carried out a temporary repair in order to minimize disruption to the local water supply.
According to available information, the crew left the site after the initial intervention, leaving their machinery there, and is expected to return to complete the permanent repair.
Residents of the Elies area in Panormos, Kalymnos point out that failures occur frequently at this specific section of the water network, calling for a long-term and effective solution.
