A commemorative event for the celebration of the Greek War of Independence will be held by the Kalymnos Reading Society “Ai Mousai” on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., at the ground floor of its Cultural Center.
The event is part of the national anniversary celebrations and will include a keynote speech and a musical program.
The main speaker will be archaeologist and member of the Society’s Board of Directors, Mr. Michail Koutellas, presenting the topic:
“Missolonghi: The Epic of the Free Besieged.”
Additionally, a musical performance will be presented by the choir of students from the 3rd Junior High School of Chora, under the direction of music teacher Mr. Georgios Karafyllis.
The Board of Directors of the Reading Society extends an open invitation to the public to attend and honor this important national anniversary.
