The Regional Unit of Kalymnos announces the official program for the celebration of Armed Forces Day on Friday, November 21, 2025. Events include a general display of flags, illumination of public and private buildings, a thanksgiving service at the Church of the Holy Savior at 10:30, and a wreath-laying ceremony at the Fallen Heroes’ Monument at 11:30.
Wreaths will be laid by representatives of the government, local authorities, Armed Forces, security services, institutions, and associations. Honors will be rendered by a detachment of the 5/42 Infantry Regiment “DELVINAKI” and the Kalymnos Municipal Philharmonic.
The Holy Metropolis will oversee the ceremony, while the Police will ensure public order.
