A regular public mixed session of the Municipal Council will be held in the Municipal Hall meeting room, in person and simultaneously via teleconference, on Friday, May 16, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, for the purpose of making decisions on the following items of the agenda:
- Approval of the 3rd revision of the budget and technical program of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2025.
- Direct purchase of property in the “Patithries” area within the settlement limits of Pothia, owned by the Maragos family.
- Amendment of Decision No. 12/2021 of the Municipal Council concerning the free concession of the upper floor of the Pserimos clinic building for co-housing the Coast Guard Post and Police Station.
- Decision regarding the placement locations of Reward Recycling Centers.
- Integration of the Municipality of Kalymnos into the Hellenic Healthy Cities Network (WHO Hellenic Healthy Cities Network). Approval of the statute and appointment of representatives.
- Marking of pedestrian crossings and placement of related signage outside the cemeteries of “Taxiarchis” and “Panagia Limiotissa”.
- Regulation of vehicle parking and installation of related signage
a) on the main commercial road (both directions),
b) along the main coastal zone of Kalymnos island.
- Approval of traffic regulations regarding pedestrianization of the Linarion road.
- Approval of traffic regulations regarding pedestrianization in the “Rina” area of Vathy.
- Approval of traffic regulations concerning one-way street changes in the “Chora” area of Kalymnos.
- Granting of public space use for installing a non-permanent structure – a staircase – in the area of Agios Georgios Kalamiotissas, Kalymnos.
- Replacement of members of the Board of Directors of the Public Legal Entity named “Kalymnos Municipal Port Fund”.
