A public regular hybrid meeting of the Municipal Council was held in the conference hall of the Town Hall, both in person and via teleconference, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 19:00, to make decisions on the following agenda items:
- Approval of a public auction for leasing a property in the Giannochorafa area of Kalymnos for placing abandoned vehicles and boulders. Approved.
- Approval of a public auction for leasing a property to improve and enhance the functionality of the Kalymnos Municipal Sports Center. The property of interest to the Municipal Authority for leasing belongs to ruling party councilor Giorgos Choulis. Approved.
- Review of the contractor’s request for an extension for the execution of the project: “IMPROVEMENT OF ACCESS, CREATION & MAINTENANCE OF CLIMBING ROUTES IN KALYMNOS.” Approved.
- Acceptance of an easement agreement for the widening of a municipal road. Approved.
- Decision on providing incentives from the Municipality of Kalymnos to fill doctor positions at the General Hospital – Health Center of Kalymnos. Withdrawn.
- Cooperation agreement between the Municipality of Kalymnos and the approved National Collective System for Reward-Based Alternative Management and Recycling of Packaging and Waste (“ANTAPODOTIKI ANAKYKLOSI”) for the organization of a comprehensive alternative waste management system in the municipality, without financial exchange. Approved.
- Annual Action Plan of the Municipality of Kalymnos for 2024. Implementation approved. Approved.
- Annual Action Plan of the Municipality of Kalymnos for 2025. Approval of its preparation and commencement of implementation. Approved.
- Determination of compensation for Municipal Council members. Postponed.
- Approval of a public auction for leasing a vacant kiosk in the Analipsi area of Kalymnos. Approved.
- Changes in Primary Education Schools of the Dodecanese Prefecture for the 2025-2026 school year (Establishment of a one-teacher Primary School in Pserimos). Approved for a single-teacher Primary School in Pserimos.
