The Region of South Aegean – Regional Unit of Kalymnos cordially invites you on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. to the Cultural and Historical Center of the Municipality of Kalymnos to attend an event in honor of Mr. Georgios I. Chatzitheodorou, Archon Maistor of the Great Church of Christ (t.M.t.Ch.E.).
The honoree’s work will be presented by Professors: Mr. Achilleas Chaldaeakis of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and Mr. Emmanouil Giannopoulos of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Following the speeches, the Kalymnos Choir of Cantors, under the direction of Mr. Poseidon Zairis, will perform hymns composed by the honoree. A short video will then be shown featuring excerpts from past performances of the Municipal Choir of Kalymnos under his direction.
The event will be presented by Mr. Panagiotis Giameos, retired educator and former President of the Reading Society “AI MOUSSAI.”
