Dodecanese MP Manos Konsolas, along with six other New Democracy MPs, submitted a parliamentary question requesting detailed data on the revenue collected nationwide and per region from the resilience levy and the cruise tax.
He emphasizes the need for transparency and fair redistribution, linking the issue to the fiscal impact of maintaining reduced VAT rates on the islands, particularly Rhodes.
Konsolas argues that these levies generate public income that must be accurately tracked and allocated to specific projects regionally. The MPs also ask whether a portion of these revenues will be officially allocated to local and regional authorities.
