In recent days, there has been an increase in the burning of agricultural residue by citizens, under the mistaken belief that the recent rainfall has eliminated the risk of wildfires.
We would like to remind the public that the fire protection season remains in effect until October 31, 2025, and that the risk of fire is still present.
Throughout the fire season, intensive inspections and patrols are conducted to prevent the outbreak and spread of wildfires, and to ensure compliance with mandatory fire prevention measures, especially during outdoor work.
Please note that non-compliance with fire safety regulations carries significant administrative fines and may result in serious criminal penalties.
