The Holy Light arrived in Kalymnos on the night of the Resurrection, bringing with it a message of hope and faith.
Deputy Mayor for Tourism, Public Relations and Expatriates, Popi Koutouzi, received the Holy Light at Kos Airport and ensured its transfer to the island.
The Holy Light arrived at the port of Kalymnos at 10:45 p.m., where it was welcomed by the President of the Municipal Council, Dimitrios Maragkos.
The transfer and reception of the Holy Light is an important annual event for the local community, marking the culmination of Easter and the celebration of the Resurrection.
