On August 8, 2025, in the presence of the Municipality’s lawyer and municipal councilor of the ruling majority, Vasilis Dikaros, Mr. Giannikouris, at the NEON café in Patithries, invited the island’s media in order to raise awareness among the people of Kalymnos regarding municipal projects—both completed and uncompleted—concerning the sewerage system and wastewater treatment plant, the Vathy reservoir, the fire on the Kalymnos Star, and many other issues.
He noted that something has changed for the better on our island with the new Municipal Administration. He answered questions from the press and from viewers of our channel who were watching the interview live.
Finally, he offered to serve as a witness when needed, in order to testify in court about the evidence he possesses concerning ANEK cases. In addition, his legal team is ready to report to the European Union any EU-funded projects that were never carried out, despite the relevant funding having been received.
