On the passing into the Lord of the deeply beloved noble lady of Kalymnos, Katerina Kathopouli, née Giannatou, the Holy Metropolis extends its heartfelt condolences to her family, together with the fervent prayer that the Lord our God may grant rest to her blessed soul among the righteous.
All of us who had the privilege of knowing her personally witnessed, through both her words and her deeds, her love for the local Church and for Kalymnos, the island of her birth, as well as her significant contribution to the Kalymnian Cultural Association of Athens.
Above all, we shall remember Katerina as a true noble lady of Kalymnos—gracious and gentle in manner—whose serene smile always captivated us and inspired our admiration.
May her memory be eternal.
