A working meeting was held between New Democracy MP for the Dodecanese Giannis Pappas and the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Vasilis Kikilias.
The main focus was addressing the housing issue faced by members of the security forces serving on the islands, with Mr. Pappas presenting realistic and implementable proposals, including the creation of organized housing complexes.
The discussion also covered broader challenges affecting the Dodecanese, particularly ferry connections and everyday issues impacting island residents. As stressed, island policy is a continuous responsibility, judged by its ability to steadily improve the quality of life of island communities.
