By decision of Sokratis Famellos, President of SYRIZA–Progressive Alliance, Nikolaos Farantouris is removed from the party’s delegation in the European Parliament.
The MEP is required to return the seat to the party under whose banner he was elected, given that he has not clearly committed to representing SYRIZA–PS voters in the European Parliament.
