The HEDNO (Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator) has announced a scheduled power outage in Kalymnos due to essential technical works on the electricity network.
According to the announcement by the Kos–Kalymnos regional division, the outage will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2025, from 08:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., affecting a specific area of the island.
HEDNO notes that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled and without prior notice. For this reason, all electrical installations and network lines should be considered live at all times.
For safety reasons, the public is strictly advised not to approach power lines or other network components, even if they are found on the ground.
