As part of efforts to promote prevention and raise awareness among the population of Kalymnos, on October 10th and 11th, 2025, a preventive spirometry screening will be conducted at the General Hospital – Health Center of Kalymnos “To Vouváleio”.
The screening aims to identify primarily obstructive respiratory disorders in adult smokers over the age of 40, with the ultimate goal of improving the overall health and well-being indicators of the local population.
This initiative is carried out in cooperation with the Mobile Unit for Preventive Screening and Social Action of the Hellenic Thoracic Society.
